STITCHING POLICY

At Alzena, we provide access to the finest authentic designer collections. When you select our premium stitching service, your outfit undergoes a meticulous tailoring process by our master artisans to bring the designer’s vision to life.

Design & Styling

  • Authenticity: Our outfits are stitched as per the style shown in the original designer brand’s fashion shoot pictures.
  • Finishing Elements: Most designer brands provide unstitched collections as fabric only and do not include finishing accessories—such as embellishments, tassels, pearls, hangings, or specific lace. To ensure a complete, luxury look, Alzena carefully sources these premium elements separately.
  • Artisan Variations: While we strive for an exact match to promotional images, variations may occur depending on the availability of high-quality materials. In the rare event that a premium match cannot be found, we may substitute the element to maintain the outfit’s aesthetic integrity and uphold the luxury standards of the brand.
  • Volume & Flare: We use expert cutting techniques to optimise the silhouette. Designers often use multiple suits or added crinolines (can-cans) for photoshoots; Alzena works with the original fabric provided to achieve the most elegant, wearable version of that volume.

Standard UK Tailoring Adjustments (Modesty & Fit)
To maintain high standards of modesty and fit for our UK and international clientele, the following adjustments are applied as standard for all stitched outfits:

  • Coverage: Low backs and drop shoulders are tailored to standard coverage.
  • Sleeves: Sleeveless designs are modified to include sleeves.
  • Length: Trousers and linings are stitched to full length.
  • Linings: Transparent fabrics are lined for full coverage (stomach, shoulders, and back).

Bespoke Requests
If you require a specific adjustment (e.g., maintaining the original sleeveless design or an alternate length), please contact our support team within 24 hours of placing your order. Requests received after this window may not be accommodated, as the tailoring process begins promptly to ensure timely delivery.

Sizing, Measurements & Customer Responsibility

  • Standard Size Selection: If you select a standard size, your outfit will be stitched according to the measurements of that size as listed on the product page.
  • Custom Measurements: If you provide custom measurements, Alzena will tailor the outfit accordingly. Professional measurement guidance is recommended for the best results.
  • Industry Standards: Minor stitching variations of 0.5–1 inch and slight colour differences due to dye-lots or screen settings are standard in the tailoring industry and do not constitute a defect.
  • Customer Responsibility: Alzena relies on the measurements you provide for custom tailoring. Any inaccuracies may affect fit and are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery
Your custom-stitched outfit will be delivered by the estimated Arrival Date listed on the product page. This date is an estimate and may vary slightly due to specialized material sourcing or intricate tailoring requirements.

Returns, Alterations & Quality Guarantee
Because each outfit is bespoke and tailored specifically to your specifications:

  • Final Sale: Change-of-mind refunds or returns are not available for stitched outfits.
  • Issue Resolution: If the finished outfit does not match the specifications confirmed at the time of order, please contact support@alzena.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
  • Repair & Replace: In line with UK consumer rights for bespoke goods, Alzena will first arrange a repair or alteration to rectify any confirmed issues. Replacements or refunds are only issued if a repair or correction is not possible.
  • Post-Delivery Alterations: Minor alterations after delivery (where the outfit matches the original order) are available for an additional fee. Free alterations are only provided if the product does not match the specifications you confirmed. Shipping costs for post-delivery alterations are the responsibility of the customer.
